Breaking Through - How patience and persistence pays off

One of this year’s highlights is witnessing the remarkable progress of one of the children under our care. After months and months of consistent effort, we encountered a phase where progress was very slow. Our therapy sessions often revolved around the same objectives for an extended period.

The Turning Point

However, in the past two months, we have observed a big change in this child’s development. They’ve substantially improved their communication skills, both in talking and listening. Tasks they needed help with before, they can now do on their own. These are things like tidying up toys and doing matching tasks.

A Lesson in Patience and Persistence

This journey serves as a reminder. With patience and persistence, even in the face of seemingly stagnant progress, incredible growth and achievement are possible.
